Great tips Alex. This video has brightened my day. Love Soller and Port de Soller. Getting to Valldemossa by bus is a great idea as it was very busy and very difficult to park a car in last year. Many thanks, John

Absolutely John, it is the best way to travel around the villages... it can be very stressful to take the car during Summer. And thanks for the lovely comment!

Great information. I’ve done the train to Soller, but next time I will try the bus especially if it goes around the villages. Also I prefer old town side streets rather than the port I find it much more interesting, well everybody’s different I guess. Thanks Alex.

Great idea Diane - there does seem to be a tourist trail, but it's nice to get off it sometimes!

We got the bus from valldemossa to port de soller, what a wonderful journey via Deia. Some spectacular views and very skilled bus driver. Took the tram to soller but couldn't get the train back to palma as it was fully booked so agree you should ideally book in advance

I went to Soller last summer and was enchanted by it. Took the wooden train from Palma which was lovely, then had a fresh squeezed orange juice at the station. Had lunch at Ca'n Gata and had a Soller spritz. Also bought a bottle of Eau De Soller, which is a beautiful fresh lemony scent. It's such a magical town, I adored it. I preferred the old town, to the port, but both were lovely ❤

My top tip: Go sooner rather than later if you can. I was in Mallorca in late March last year and it was fantastic. Great weather and fewer fellow tourists. Late at night you can have a place like Soller to yourself. Enjoy!!

100% agree Dan! This is a really lovely time of year in my opinion too!

Loved Soller - stayed in the Hotel Salvia and it was amazing. My wife and I walked down to the Port a few times for lunch in the restaurants recommended by the owners of the Salvia and it did not disappoint.

Oh I don't know that hotel! But yes, there are so many amazing restaurants in the area!

Great video! Thank you for sharing this. Please, could you also give us more details about the parking spaces and where it is convenient to go by car? There are some places where it is prohibited to enter by car

Alex, stop telling everyone 🤣❤ Those train seats are uncomfortable...well, they were for me! Yes, please can you do the bus routes, tickets, etc. especially where it stops near Soller Town.
