hi , to answer a research question, in your methodology can you include both exploratory and descriptive research design?
@liveinnovationorg4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kate! Of course. Studies use more than one design or methods are called „mixed methods“, and provide a pretty good perspective on a topic, as each design addresses the question from a different angle. But it is not mandatory, so discuss with your supervisor. Have a great day!

Can some one assist me ? My topic is “ advertisement manipulation on social media” . The topic is from a consumer perspective n how of them services provided is far from advertised and how social media is being used as it has a almost unlimited potential consumers being the users itself all over the world . I have made 3 objectives for my paper , but m a lil confused if it shall fall under description or exploratory research design

They are not specifically quantitative and you do not always have to use large samples and qualitative studies are often smaller

Hi Murphy! I agree with you. That is why they generally have such characteristics. Regarding the sample size, it all depends on the overall size of the population of your study. But considering that the focus here is for marketing students and the behavior of consumers, the greater the sample size, the better! And yes, qualitative studies are indeed often smaller. Have a great day!
