Desert Boots Review.

This video is a gear update and man there worth the money. almost 100 degrees this week and i have put them threw hell and still like my Desert Boots. Merrells were very nice but my job kills weak boots. i think Merrells also helped my back injury a while back. more to come thanks for watching.

Military boots use a common DOD last and they’re bigger than commercial boot lasts for each size number. I wear a size 8-1/2 or a 9 on the civilian side but I wear a 7w in the army side of boots. It’s because the government kept the same standard sizing since the early 20th century before the industry introduced their own standardized sizes later on.

For anyone wondering, standard issue combat boots run a half size to a full size large. I wear a size 13 R in hiking boots but a 12 R in combat boots.

I bought a pair of redwings for work. I put them on in the store, walked to my truck, and had to take them off because my feet hurt ao bad. Threw them away. $500 in the trash.

The only size they had was a 16 and I usually wear a 14-15 depending on brand. So I ordered them anyway as they were only 20 bucks. Holy shit they are the size of boats my feet have like 2 inches of room and my toes don't even reach the toe box lol.

Well 20$ is a grate price it just sucks they only have size 16.I payed around 40 for mine and well worth is still wear them everyday.
