🌷 Love it … Thank you! I was going to join a gym … then I wasn’t … then I was… 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫. I don’t have any of that special equipment. I would love to do some of that stuff. It looks like it would help my flabby self. I’m 71 and I’ve been way too sedentary and I’ve eaten way too much junk food… I’m way over Wt. My entire family has passed away… except for a few distant relatives. It’s been difficult, very stressful and I’ve done a whole lot of comfort food eating (a lot of sadness & mourning) I’m now actually using my stationary bike, which up to now has been a terrific ‘clothes hanger’ 😏 I’m doing 15 min now… hit (?). Also, I meditate/pray a minimum of 15 minutes daily… I give thanks for everything I have in my life, starting with the roof over my head. I have a knee injury from years ago and a back injury from lifting/transferring an obese client. But… i’m feeling optimistic now, I feel I have much more to do before I croak…. I’m eating way way better…. I’m going to take a list of your exercises to the gym when I go; I’m going to do them exactly according to your directions. Thank you dear-heart I really appreciate you. I thumbed up and I’ve subbed. 🌻💕

Wow, you both look so much younger and healthier than you did a year ago. Congratulations on finding the right combination of lifestyle changes. I'm 54 and had an ankle replacement 5 months ago. It was the result of damage from an auto accident in 1990 and decades of a bad arthritic ankle with no cartilage. My goal is to get younger now that I'm finding my right combo of changes. Thanks for this info. It fits me perfectly. PSMF, ketovore, Intermittent Fasting and now Slow HIT. THAT is the answer that I have been looking for to add to the others. I haven't walked properly for over 30 years and I'm learning to walk normal again. I wanted to strengthen my legs, but wanted to be cautious with my ankle. I'm compound heterozygous with the MTHFR gene mutation and the above changes have helped improve my life since learning about my methylation problem in 2017. You and Judy have so many ideas for people like me. Thanks. And congratulations to Judy for her new channel.

this explains why at 62 Im still going strong. My darling husband is 66 and is also on no meds for BP, statins or diabetes. I have always been overweight, but I would do what ever necessary to be off BP & cholesterol meds: I would walk, lose some weight by eating clean and increase sleep schedule. We both still work at jobs and travel. I hope to age as graceful as my 90 year old mum who just sold her winter cottage in TX to stay in MN with her husband. We fast with a church schedule for holy days and seasons, and consume no alcohol. Thanks for this great video~ it is so very encouraging.

THIS is an awesome post Karl, & is definitely "something (we should all be) interested in". In fact, it was some similar slides I saw recently- the cross section/leg/var. age examples- which really hit home for my husband & I in our pursuit of best practices for our age & longevity. I was listening to Sean O'Mara, who was a guest on another Judy's channel ("Nutrition With Judy") last week, discussing sprinting as a viable method of increasing muscle mass, while reducing visceral fat. Of course, these are at the top of the list for us, along w/proper protein intake, fat ratios & such. Sprinting may not be the best exercise for either of us, but it sure got me thinking about it differently- how we can adapt our gym routines & so forth. I recall about 20 yrs ago the HGH craze was 'sweeping the nation', & people were even having home parties around the stuff, much like Tupperware & those stinky-candle-chemical-concoction MLM gigs. The human growth hormone was sold either as a sublingual spray or tincture, & folks were dumping TONS of $$$ on it , which I thought was insane, all things considered~ aka, reality. The main claims were weight loss, increased energy & focus, the usual. I remember thinking it was flat creepy, for one thing, plus I had no access to research tools at the time, so I declined. I was also in my late 30's at that juncture, & not yet putting my future health & wellbeing as a priority. My how things change over a couple decades! I am so grateful for the amount & type of data available now, as well as those who choose to dig deeper on a professional level. It's both encouraging & reassuring to hear your thoughts & findings in line with the precise topics we are eyebrow deep into studying & implementing. Once again, you are right there w/the info & graphics that make it so easy to grasp~ thanks for sharing all that you do. -The Whitson's in AZ

Thank you, Dr. Goldkamp! Yes, please, may I have another? I really appreciate your very valuable insights. Unfortunately I have asthma, COPD, & asbestosis. My inability to breathe is (IMO) my biggest barrier. Since the doctor said I have ''exercise-induced" asthma I've had issues. I've already been using extended fasts to try to increase HGH. W/ the goal to repair some of the damage, BTW, I'm 67. Went low-carb/keto 10/2015 to improve 'metabolic'/pre-diabetes. Weighed 280, now 195-200 (fasting to feeding). Still trying to repair NA fatty liver (steroids are terrible!). It's so sad, seeing so many being misled (for profit?) about what to do. So much has been learned about how to have better health. I'm on a mission to find out 'how-to' improve my situation. So I *really* appreciate your advice! Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!

You start taking (whatever brands have best reviews) ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS!!! As we age we lose stomach acid. Regardless of what the quacks beholden to their pharmacuetical reps tell you, it's low stomach acid as a feedback loop to keep it closed when not eating! Also very important: if you are taking ANY DRUGS THAT BLOCK OR INHIBIT phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) THIS WILL RELAX YOUR LOWER ESOPHAGEAL SPHINCTER!!!!!! Other things can also mess with pde5. So research wtf ever med your taking, natural herb or anything. I speak from decades of mistakes research and going through it. YOU NEED THE ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS. Some claimminutes will disrupt that ratio for anabolism or absorption. I don't know how much of that is true but I still do that anyhowI tried to eat regular but it's very difficult because the ppis totally make digestion not possible. In fact I just called the GI specialist I've been seeing and told her to f off! double and you will have actual acid problems.

Shilajit processed. Research and try it. Watch brands. I get the gummies. It's not like coffee . You just feel motivated. Fulvic acid. A lot of older folks swear by it. I absolutely love it. Ask me and I'll tell you the brand. I'm not advertising or working for any company. I got why gf to get off her coffee (very difficult). People your age notice it the most. Read reputable studies. Ask me anything I'll give my opinion.

The lion diet (beef, salt, water) can help with pain. I suffered from fibromyalgia, pain in the joints that I could not sleep or walk normally, hair loss for two decades etc. Two weeks into the lion diet and all pain is gone. Now I'm one month into this diet and I feel great. I used to also have migraines with aura, daily headaches from inflammation, the first thing I noticed once the inflammation was gone I was pain free from everything that I described. Look into the carnivore diet and the lion diet doctor Ken Berry and doctor Anthony Chaffee here on youtube. Also the Ted Talk of Mikhaila Peterson. God bless!

What you are doing I consider a mixture of power kondulini yoga and Taichi. Very well exercises. I have been seriously exercising now for 53 yrs and look 45 yrs. In my younger yrs I have done power lifting but quite heavy weights as it is the reapting time that counts just like slow training.

I identify with and endorse this. I take an exception with "to failure". I have found that "to pleasure" (if you can sense it) works visibly and functionally. And it affects strength (higher), endurance (more), sleep duration (less) and ease (more). I'd also add jumps (muscle toning for internal organs), and stretching. All this concerns weights in my case, but doesn't have to. Consistently variable diet. Sugar not excluded from menu, but wisely utilized (physical activity after consuming carbs).

I’m 66. After waking up, around 6 in the morning, a cup of coffee and a banana I work out for more than an hour. In the late afternoon I do 3 series of correct executed pushups, abs or neck training. As an example; when I do my shoulders I still manage to perform between 15 and 20 pull-ups, 3 series broadest grip, 1 set shoulder grip. Then the dumbbells and barbel portion. I practice I.F. For over 8 years now. I eat healthy and have banned all but natural sugars a long, long time ago. I don’t drink alcohol (not a drop) and I don’t smoke. Every day I meditate for about an hour. When I go for a walk in the afternoon I still feel like 30. When I’m on holiday a lot of other guests around the swimming pool hate my guts. A little payoff, by no means essential but motivational nonetheless and always funny. I don’t have any knee, back or other health problems. I don’t take any medication. I don’t give a toss about reaching 70, 80, 150, or 250 years. What I do care about is my well being, physically, mentally and emotionally in the here and know. And I can assure you I feel great from early morning until bedtime. And believe it or not but more than once people have asked me: ‘but don’t you miss a lot in life? ‘Seriously???’

i agree with your concepts in general. I notice that you pull your legs up off the bench when completing each leg curl and pick your upper body off the bench when beginning each. Both of these actions take create a break in the fatigue of the targeted muscle. The same for the bicep curl when you raise your whole arm at the end. I'm 74 and go to failure as much as humanly possible on each exercise. I do, however, since I workout alone, break form slightly to get that one last rep so I can get the benefit of the negative portion of the rep. This isn't necessary if one has a competent workout partner who can help just enough with that last rep so it can be completed, with intense agony, so the negative can be completed.

I have moved a lot in my lifetime due to military and family matters and I've had several doctors that did more harm than good and several that were good but NONE of them took the time to come anywhere NEAR explaining things this effectively. I needed this information 30 years ago and every year since, and this is the first time I've heard it this way, though I've gotten bits and pieces of this information presented differently but less effectively. Thank you. Glory to God and may He bless your good efforts. ☦️❤️
