Desert Botanical Garden - 85th Anniversary Tour | Phoenix, Arizona

For the last several days we spent our time in Sedona exploring the heart of red rock country. After driving 2 hours south to Phoenix we arrived at the Desert Botanical Gardens - which contains the world's finest collection of arid plants in a unique outdoor venue. The Garden has more than 50,000 desert plants on display throughout five sprawling trails that illustrate topics such as conservation, desert living, plants and people of the Sonoran Desert, and desert wildflowers. This was the most impressive botanical garden I have ever visited. Visit the Garden and enjoy specialized tours, exhibits, concerts, Gertrude's restaurant, Patio Café as well as the Garden's gift and plant shop. Admission is $25 for adults and the garden is open 7AM - 8PM daily. Enjoy complimentary admission to the Garden every second Tuesday of the month. Sit back and enjoy this one-of-a-kind Sonoran Desert experience as our time in Arizona is nearing the end.
