Desert Dreams - Aerial 4K

Here are a few scenes taken from California and Utah during 2015 and 2016. The amazing formations and shapes of desert landscapes have always intrigued me. As a landscape photographer, having the ability to see these beautiful locations from an aerial perspective is amazing.

Dude, stunning work. Watching this and the Oregon vid gave me a revelation. I need to focus on way longer shots. I'm always flying all over the place and setting up complicated moves etc probably overthinking things. This has shown me to just compose and let it run :) Keep killing it!

Hi Mike! It's absolutely amazing! I saw a lot of your videos and time lapses - all of them are amazing! May I ask? Do you use any filters on the camera? ND-filter, for example? I saw your review of DJI Mavic. I have Phantom 3 Pro and i think about Phantom 4 Pro or... Mavic Pro...:) Mavic Pro, because small and comfortable for travel. Can you compare the quality of the video and photo of Phantom 3 Pro and Mavik Pro? Is the difference great? Thank you! :)

Hey there Logan, mostly just curves in Adobe Premiere. I filmed everything in picture style none, colors neutral or none as well.

I absoluely love the shots but why not export in 2.34:1? Many people like myself are purchasing 21/9 monitors just for these kinds of videos, to watch them full screen and enjoy every pixel of beautiful cinematography ;)

Yeah to be honest, I do not know what I was thinking there. I ended up exporting this video when I was super tired and there are definitely some things I would change. I think I was having a few issues with the resolution size, next video I will either export full frame 4K or if I want to go widescreen, change the sequence size beforehand.

Awesome that would be sick. But it is quite frightening when you try to change the sequence size and it gives you a warning saying it might ruin your project and you can't undo it. It's never happened to me before but I can understand in your case with a finished project it's a risk that you might not want to take after spending so much time creating the video. Great stuff though man. Keep it up!

All of these shots were done before the Mavic was announced. But in the future I will be doing more videos with the Mavic and P4P.
