City of Rocks looks awesome. Never even heard of it. Thanks for showing us all these cool places. You know I agree that a full-size truck is pretty Cool for overlanding. Maneuverability is it’s biggest fault. But that was a great video

Hey you guys! Are you passing through Yuma? My wife and I are wintering here for the first time and have found some fun trails and camp spots. If you need any tips let me know. We'll be looking for your trailer out on the trails! Safe Travels! Eric--

Hey Eric. We won’t be near Yuma anytime soon. But maybe in March. Sounds like you guys are in a great area for winter. Thanks for thinking of us.

@@TsarTrail Oh, March is the Yuma AirShow. Not sure we'll still be here, but would love to see that show. If you make it to Yuma, look into the Barry M Goldwater Range. A military bombing range open to the public (parts of it). You off-road to old mines (we collected turquoise), drive up to "crashed" aircraft, military tanks and a desert village made of storage containers used for training combat troops.... Lots of fun stuff... I think the training camp was favorite so far. Ya'll have fun out there. (P.S. also going to checkout City of Rocks next time we're out that way... looks great). Cheers. Eric--

Hey!! Now your in my country!! Grew up in Cliff. I guess I should watch this first and see where all you went.. I definitely suggest going over mule creek to 3 way. You could even take the Black hills bypass road which crosses the gila River on a cool bridge where my grandmother grew up. Otherwise go hit the dunes nd Hot tubs

Otherwise aravaipa canyon country is amazing. Oh and if course Mt Graham!! elev change from 3500ft at my house to 10800 in about 10 miles as the crow flies!! But .. I strongly suggest staying on the north side of all the freeways.. always keep a freeway between you and the border!! We have had multiple vehicles stolen near the ranch in Animas.. all big crew cabs . They love them!! Also be careful at any main lights or 4 ways on main roads coming from the border.. I've seen two bad bad accidents from illegals running from cartel or border patrol. 100+ mph running lights and Tboning people. One in Lordsburg killed a young family and the other in Benson at the truck stop killed an elder couple! they don't have lights or stop signs hardly in Mexico so they don't even know what they mean etc. Not saying you don't know already etc... Just saying they are from a completely different world and would not hesitate leaving you on foot in the middle of the desert.. right now there are literally hundreds or 1000s of illegals crossing the desert. Some with armed guides and some left behind desperate to get across alive. Also that entry to City of Rocks and the rest area near there is a common Border patrol busting point. Sometimes they are able to bust them there before they head to Silver city.

More gray information. Thank you. We are going to map all of those areas. It’s so great to get local info from someone that knows. We cannot thank you enough. We are typically very careful but it sounds like an extra level of awareness would be good.
