*Technically* your Stuart model is an M5 (Stuart VI in British terminology) which can take a pintle MMG if you’re playing as Americans. Oddly that option doesn’t appear in the British version of the unit. I say run it as whatever you like as long as you are very clear about what it is to your opponent. WYSIWYG is a crutch utilized by those who lack imagination!

To answer the more themed question, I would add the Bren gun to the infantry secrions. British infantry doctrine was all about the Bren. Also, you only gain Rapid Fire while standing still in 3E so you do get a range bonus and a little more firepower on the move for your points. I'm not a tournament guy, so not sure how that works out in a competitive sense, just throwing that out there. Of course, that's just my opinion man! Thumbs up sir. Keep them coming.

Are you sure about that rapid fire rule. I just checked it doesn't say anything about standing still?

@@CadianRefugee Pretty sure. It specifies that it is on the Fire order and also includes Ambush and reaction fire. Advance is not in there. For comparison, the US Fire and Maneuver just says you get the bonus shots and that's it.

As an owner of lots of real WWII guns I can attest that the No. 4 Rifle (Lee Enfield) is better than the Kar98k in every way, much better than the Mosin-Nagant, and utterly inferior to the US Rifle, Caliber .30 M1, THE GREATEST BATTLE IMPLEMENT EVER DEVISED!!!

Don't you need a rifle platoon for each 'other' platoon in v3? Ie the artillery, armour and heavy platoons would require 3 rifle platoons in the list

Haven't got my book yet but for anyone else who might make the same mistake i did.... 1 rifle platoon lets you take 1 of each other type of platoon. If you wanted 2 of the same platoon, then you would need two rifle platoons.

1 x infantry platoon allows U to take 1 of each type of the other platoons. one heavy weapons + 1 x artillery + 1 x recon + 1 x armoured + 1 x engineer. If U wanted 2 x engineer platoons you would need 2 x infantry platoons.
