Desert Tarp Camping | Anza Borrego Desert State Park 4K

I'm in Anza Borrego Desert State Park for this adventure, seeking solitude and finding plenty of it.
I camp out near Arroyo Salado wash under a tarp and enjoy the unusually still desert air. I had hoped to get some photos of the full moon rising over the salton sea but the clouds weren't letting that happen. I enjoy a spectacular sunset and the kind of peace and quiet only the desert can provide.
I just bought a new full frame camera, the Panasonic lumix S5. It is a very capable hybrid camera and I look forward to using it in future videos. The photography aspect of it has me very excited, so expect to see more photos in upcoming episodes.

I love the ASMR value of your videos, not many words need be spoken, I am sure many have heard of forest bathing, well as we in the West know Desert bathing is real, being able to see the horizon and the many sounds that carry. Very much enjoyed, welcome to the Keto lifestyle.

Lol, I have to admit I had to google what ASMR meant, but yeah that makes a lot of sense. When the desert is still it is the most serene and relaxing place to hike, I really enjoyed this trip. I will be doing more desert hikes in the next few months, maybe even a trip out your way to the Sonoran desert. I lived in Tucson for a few years when I was a boy and I've always wanted to go back and visit that area again.

Great job! I moved to Nevada from Washington recently. The idea of going from a tarp to a tent makes me ill. Have you ever had troubles with things that crawl in the Southwest? Again, awesome video, very peaceful. Subscribed
