Visited Austin a few years back and saw Mr.. Haynes playing this very guitar on 6th street. Was the best part of the trip hearing Uncle John, Appa Perry and Mr. Alan Haynes....

Alan is brilliant, hadn't heard him before - love hearing the 'chamber music' quality of the Kingsville - imo no other amp does this as well. Thanks for posting!

Smooth playing... and a great sounding guitar and amp. I'm wondering if the Hello Kitty band-aid (around 9:26 and 9:48) on his left index finger is part of the tone mojo. I thought that was great.
@E4G7EVISION9 жыл бұрын
you never know, man.. I got cut open by a machete on my fretting hand back in December and since it scarred over- the mojo's been risin..

Notice how Alan doesn't say anything about "Playing SRV's 1960 strat". He talks about the amp.

Indeed. I filmed and recorded the very first time I saw him and when I talked to him afterwards he said no I wasn't very good

Is that the original neck back on it? I know he swapped it out for a lefty neck, that’s why it had the reversed headstock.
GREAT blues musician - GREAT amp - Alan Haynes is one of the best -I whished Johnny Winter had Alan on his latest record instead of ......you kno who

ALAN rescued me from a "pysco" women at a club on Westheimer. He always came to Texas Tom's where I taught and we would jam, I think. I think he lived off of the 290 .
