I did this for an antique booth I rented. Bottom drawers were like yours so out they went. I sold so many vintage gloves and scarves out of the top two drawers and as many chunky pottery pieces and baskets as I could find from the bottom shelf. It was a great piece. Eventually sold the dresser to another dealer. I love your gray wax finish and black drawer pulls, it really elevates the piece into a rustic beauty.
