Fun flips! Love the print in the Golden frame. If people understood how many books are thrown away at thrift stores, because people isn't buying them.. I work at a thrift stores and we recycle 90 % of the books, because they will not sell. Goodwill bins is the last stop, so if you rescue a book there and use it for the prints, that's great!!

Hello, It's great that you can reuse items and give us ideas on what to do with our thrifted items. As far as the book of prints, most people don't realize about 320 million books are thrown away each year rather than recycled or reused, and paper accounts for 25% of waste in the landfill. (from google) Not only that but unless that book was printed before 1928 it is under copyright. It is against the law to copy book pages and use them in a way to make a profit. When you buy the book you can use the pages because you own the book, but you cannot copy them. I also agree that the original book pages will look much better than copies. 😊

The green topiary ball is nice. It would also look cute with some sort of limb broken off and pressed into foam that you push into.th3 bottom of the vase. The hot glue the little green topiary so it looks like a little tree in the pot. The separation the little branch creates between the pot and the topiary ball will give it a more balanced weight appearance.

I think you are so sweet, and I’m not sure why but todays video made me chuckle. Watching you try to attach the wood round to the brass Hosley candle holder had me giggling ( Hosley is vintage brass from India I have one of their brass boxes). I know it wasn’t easy but it was the right call it looked great! I think the green looked better than the white in the rich persons pot 😂. That brown bunny sure made the rounds in this video…I felt so bad for him when the white bunny took his place in the last vignette, lol. I love older books, and I usually hate to see them taken apart, but in this instance I totally get where you are coming from🥰.

Thank you for showing the PRICES per item so clearly, Corey!! And thanks too, for referencing the feedback about making color copies rather than tearing out the pages. You are the BEST for listening to your audience feedback! 😇 The child foam indents were precious. I think by not gluing down the foam down inside though, and instead just pushing it in tightly, would have allowed for more uses by the customer (switch-outs) of the little metal watering can. Thanks for showing the shopping then flipping integrated as you've done. Loved it!! Great job!!

❤ We live in a throw away society…and with countless people into seasonal decorating…and with people seemingly quickly get tired of their decor and change things out often…and we definitely are in a thrifting and reselling trend… With that said, the value of many things aren’t respected for what they are… it’s hard for me to see what is damaged or destroyed just for temporary decor in your home or for resale! It really isn’t ok to use special books, as Bibles, hymn books, old music sheets and books, crocheted pieces, possibly that was made by Grama, or your mom, painting or pulling apart old pianos, etc. ….the list goes on and on! Many of these “crafts” are just for a time, and they are trashed anyway and eventually land at the dump! Decor always seems to change SO often… that’s how society is today in their mentality! So why deface, dismantle, rip apart things that do have value, just to make something for fun or to resell! I cherish, treasure, deeply appreciate, place value on things that remind me of someone I love, or remind me of different times in my life that had meaning to it…. Once things are destroyed for whatever reason, it’s gone…there is no replacing them! So please make your choices really careful on what you will do with what you find! Most books are incredible, in appearance and content! But a lot of books are worth nothing right from their beginning… with all the techy stuff today, books have had to take 2nd place…and that is a tragedy! But most books have great value…and should be enjoyed and appreciated for what they are…..❤ Including all other current, vintage or antiques items that have much character and to be treasured… There are those of you that will read this comment and be ticked off with me…It doesn’t matter in the least because this is what I deeply think and feel… I get concerned by what I am seeing on many U-tube sites these days…….😢
