I'll bet, seems like it could very easily cripple a player especially in a 2v2 game like this where greedy plays are generally considered 'safe'. For that reason, as you pointed out, MooSah's quick reaction and damage mitigation was very well done.

Yeah. The only defense I know of for the Gunship rush is to split your salvagers like I demonstrated in the Blast Drone defense video. Moosah is a solid player for sure.

Dude! That was such a great battle! I am hooked. Your ally was slightly better at engagements though and he totally tricked out that Co carrier into a beast. You did a good job too of keeping the guy on the right flank busy. I love your commentary, it's so much fun. Gonna watch a few more from ya!

You'd think the Soban carrier would excel at pounding away from range, but doesn't really look like its guns even do all that much damage. Damn man, 4 power in weapons for the Coalition carrier is already scary, but that final point with the armor piercing rounds just pounds everything into the sand. No other unit in the game can touch it. Power in targeting just seals that dominance. Hopefully the Soban carrier will eventually end up getting a heavy buff to long range prowess. Otherwise it's just a big slab of metal for tanking damage and throwing around ALMs. Maxed ALMs are a nightmare though... but they're the only thing it can do well.

Agreed. Even with the buffs in the last patch, the RoF is just too damn low to be of any real use.

The Budgie Admiral Discord is definitely the best way to interact with the community. There is also a steam group, which I can link you when I get on my PC if you want. Its less active than the Discord however.

Hope one day soban carrier will get buff to be the same threat level as khaaneph carrier. At this time soban carrier can only do is tank damage and drop ALMs so I try to make it work but didnt work out in the end in this game.

It was pretty effective at tanking insane amounts of damage. I think if rompafrolic would have just fled to your side you guys could have killed me and won.

Hey there... just found out about DoK and i actually like the style of the game. Unfortunately steamcharts do show a very small playerbase for DoK. Is it still kind of playable with so few players in MP?

Its very playable. The community is small but very active. . If you are interested in joining the MP community I recommend joining the Homeworld Discord server. Basically the whole community is on there and it makes it easy to find people to play with. Here is the link: discordapp.com/invite/zRFXs9k Feel free to drop by and check it out. Everyone is very friendly and helpful to new players. We also have tournaments every other weekend, in addition to other community multiplayer events.
