This popped but up on my suggested list today. I'd clearly watched it many Angel Moon's ago because I had already liked it. Watched it again for the nostalgia and the feels for the beloved franchise. Facepalms at the plight of HW3. Glad I didn't waste money on that, yet gutted it wasn't what it should of been. Back to HWRM and DoK it is then.

This is why I love watching these matches. In some RTS games, map control or unit spam is all it takes to win some.. but damn if this wasn't back and forth the whole match. Lose over 3/4 of the map? Doesn't matter, still got 3 carriers. Having to fight 3 to 1? Doesn't matter, got the relics. The whole match feels worth it.

Nice to see the playerbase is still active. HW3 got me itching to get back into HWRM and DoK, and hopefully the wider community will warm to War Games and HW3 multiplayer.
@LordDarthHarry18 күн бұрын
Wargames is pretty fun in coop. Absolutely friggin miserable solo...especially without active pause and time scaling. For HW3's Skirmish to kick off they need to add larger maps. The current ones are just too tiny. Can't even think about making use of the "space terrain" if im constantly fighting for my life with the opponent on top of me neraly at all times. Fortunetely the devs have made a community post and are adressing that along with increasing unit health pools across the board to slow the pace dow na bit.

love hw games and lore. but i miss the "save game" button on dok... i dont play to finish quick, but long matches to build, upgrade and rank up the entire army, against 2 or 3 enemies. an rts game without "save" utton is very, very bad.

Is this Homeworld 1 remastered, or Homeworld 2 remastered being played?
@adamtruong175928 күн бұрын
I can't help but feel bad for the Sakala... the ship I mean, not the crew. The Siidim deserved every drop of hate and retribution that the S'Jet forces pumped into them. Especially Captain Mashad... It's just that no ship that holds the namesake of an entire class of impressive vessels should ever be remembered by the entitled and treacherous actions committed by the crew commanding said ship. Especially when that class of ships loses 3 of it's members before they get the chance to prove themselves, and when that class is cut down to only one member: the Kapisi. At least their entire legacy as ships can be remembered as the ships meant to save the Kushan people, and eventually return their people to their Homeworld.

Dreamlands will you be doing HW3 multiplayer? I’m hearing mostly bad things but the mods are adamant that the game is a tactical masterpiece and I think gameplay footage and commentary by veterans like Yourself would be extremely helpful to figure out the truth.

@@Dreamlands15 Thank you for replying I appreciate it. Listen I respect your work and appreciate everything you do for the community. I've been playing Homeworld since I was about seven years old with my Dad, and play the campaigns with my wife every few years instead of watching a movie. For me it's an unmitigated disaster. It's not a Homeworld game, in my opinion. I'll leave it at that.

defenders are useful depending on the situation just like all ships. they have a very low build time allowing for replacing units quickly when things go sideways most people just do not look at the stats or play strategical and just try to copy others which does not work out for them and then they blame others or the unit. Defenders do not suck
