Good 1v0 win, would be good to see more wins like that. 👍. Recon squad still got leeerrrgie. We need another midfielder to spread the load. Brunnette looked good, good saves.

Carricks improvement of players will have an awesome effect on talent recruitment, a young talented player would be so much more likely to sign looking to improve themselves.

A wins a win but we need a plan B we don't seem to have that at the moment . Great podcast as always guys

Playing out from the back, providing your defence is good enough, is a great way to beat the high press on the counter.

😅😅 Sol Brynn had to save our defence from back passes
@TertiaryScroat16 сағат бұрын
@colinfryett8174 it does obviously depend on players keeping their concentration etc but Carrick is married to it as are a number of modern coaches.

Fine margins at Elland rd, Recon full backs are blocking Doak going outside, might be worth shifting him, Keep them guessing.

Ya cant be changing your style for a couple of games a season though can you. The three games you mentioned, two are premier league teams and Leeds are not far off. If we do get promoted hopefully we can improve the sqaud to play this style at a higher level. Also it starts with your keeper and Dieng hasnt been too clever with his distribution of late , often putting players under pressure with it. Brynn certainly seems to alter his passing depending on how the game is going which could stop a lot of these silly chances we give up. On a side note, Dieng had the ball in his hands after a spell of pressure on Tuesday. Hackney was giving him the slow down gesture with both hands, next thing dieng rolled it out to him. We managed to get away with it but Carrick was going mental, im sure that incident had a big part to play in Brynn playing yesterday, UTB

This team would get thrashed in the Premier league playing out from the back like we do.

Great video Tom and Jonny.....Everything spot on in the video and I think we will lose 1 big player in January and I think it will be Latte Lath....Think we will win next weekend I'm going 2 nil Boro

Agreed we need a plan B which isn't sooo naive .... centre half's can't play like midfielders and we need to respect that and get a system which plays to your strengths and not the oppositions

Edmondson back pass was a joke. The mistakes in this team borders amateurish at times

I was right about Hayden Hackney: our most overrated player.

Don't be silly.

@@TertiaryScroat Howson looked streets above him yesterday and I think Hackney''s been poor most of the year. He doesn't give us the defensive cover that Howson and Morris do, and at this point, he can't protect the ball as good as those two (especially AM who eclipses him by a huge margin in every category). When he's back we should revert to a Howson-Morris midfield.
@TertiaryScroat16 сағат бұрын
@robbo03 Howson is a great player but he can't cover the ground anymore and you seem to be quite isolated in your view which is obviously why you call him over rated and my disagreeing with you means nowt as I am no expert either but I have always found it hard to see the faults in Boro players anyway.
@robbo0316 сағат бұрын
@@TertiaryScroat I don't like to pick faults in our players either but to me it's obvious that we can massively lack control at times with Hackney in midfield. He turns possession over far too much and is a liability out of possession too.
@TertiaryScroat15 сағат бұрын
@robbo03 he is constantly moving us forward, him and Morris were looking like a great partnership, do you rate Morris. And it is not that I do not like to pick faults I am just blind to their negative areas, not always but often enough for me not to trust my opinion on our players but I really trust the guys at Boro, they have taken recruitment to a completely different level.
