Im so disappointed and exhausted with our team. The window is closing for this team within the next couple of years. All we need is an AVERAGE quarterback to make a decent run in the playoffs. I think Watson is cooked, at least for the foreseeable future, but people should take into consideration that the Browns were playing the Cowboys (who are at least fairly decent). People need to stop this nonsense that the Cowboys are regular season chumps. The regular season has never been their issue. Wow. When the Optimistic Fan Club say it’s bad, you know it’s bad. I’ve been a die hard fan since 1986. When they ran Baker out of town that was the last straw for me. I really shoulda threw in the towel when they cut Kosar or moved the team or when the Ravens won two SB’s or when they went 1-31 in 2016-2017. But I didn’t. Anyways, I used to live and die for this team. Now, I watch them more from an objective “how bad can they get” point of view. Last year was surprising but not enjoyable. They got lucky facing an injured Burrow in the rain. They got lucky with a missed FG from the Niner’s kicker. It took some terrible calls to beat the Colts. They faced HOU without Stroud. Faced Arizona without Murray. The Jets without Rodgers. Almost lost to the Bears on a Hail Mary pass AGAIN. I’m not optimistic or negative, I’m just a realist. The only impressive win last season was vs Baltimore. This team will flounder this season and it’s their own damn fault. They were on the cusp of being a perennial contender before Baker blew up his shoulder in 2021. Now, they’ve got an injured has been under center with obvious character flaws.

But unless and until then, let it play out.

Love your fairness here. Would I defend him if he played for another team? No. Would I defend his right to due process in any and all cases? Absolutely. All Americans enjoy a constitutional right to due process and a fair trial. There is no scenario in which the Browns do not take a cap hit of some sort. There are several articles explaining this.
