The officiating bias against Cleveland is shocking sometimes. Somehow the “it’s just the Browns” mentality has seeped through the entire league structure. Wont be enough to stop them this year though. Time to get that Lombardi and put everyone else on notice.

I saw an unbiased chart that showed missed calls and bad calls in comparison to league average over a 5 yr period. The Browns had the worst officiating in 4 of the 5 years, and was second to last in the other.

@@richievolz2434 we were more successful then 40%. 54.5% and led the league in conversions. We were on the high end of the average. Again, when the kicker is missing easy kicks your more inclined to go for it. When the defense is giving up 20+ points per game, you blame the defense

1) Chubb is the best RB in the league 2) Our DBs say they like playing Man Defense. Schwartz will let them play that style. Played too much zone last year 3) Watson is back in his MVP form, and our receivers are all HANDS receivers, with good route running and speed 4) Our O-Line is the BEST in the league because Bill Callahan is the best coach As long as the playcalling is up to par we'll win all the games we're supposed to win, and even big time games [other teams think] we shouldn't win.

Im a big browns fan, so ill give my opinion: 1. Browns defense is NOT very physical. 2. Elijah Moore will help, but the Browns WRs are SLOW with no legit deep threats to spread the field. 3. Browns are and have always been, injury prone. 4. Like you mentioned, Stephanski cannot call plays after the first scripted drive. The only thing that can possibly mask this huge downfall this year, is Deshaun Watson playing lights out. 5. Browns special teams are WEAK and this will hinder us all year, even vosting us games (cough - Cade York - cough) 6. Jim Swartz was the biggest addition to the Browns in the last 5 years.

He'll very likely do that all on his own. There are 3 guys that are available, that I'd take over York. One of them is CFL kicker, Rene Peredes. He's not good outside of 45, but, inside of 40 and he's a straight guarantee.

I'm not convinced a healthy Deshaun Mayfield with a healthy roster is any better than a healthy Baker Mayfield with a healthy roster. Making the playoffs with the best jump ball receiver in NFL history doesn't make you an elite QB. Putting up lots of yards when opposing defenses only play cover 3 and cover 4 in the second half doesn't make you an elite QB.

They literally give you everything between the 20s to keep the clock running. Have you ever WATCHED football? They know you're passing. They're not giving up home runs. Since you need to be spoonfed, cover 3 and 4 have 3 and 4 corners playing a deep zone. Their only job is not letting anyone get behind them. Offense plays a lot of curl routes. Receiver are wide open because the defense is giving it to them. Contested catches don't exist. When Deshaun has the lead, he will need to beat man coverage with incredibly accurate passes. I've only seen him telegraph deep passes. If you play fantasy football, average QBs and WRs on bad teams will win your league. They get better stats because they're always down.
