Jon payed his assessed taxes, as everyone everywhere who has had to pay taxes on their home's assessed value has done, while Trump overvalued his assets on loan applications, which is a federal crime.

Stewart said on his show and in his own words that Trump didn't pay the taxes that he should have at the inflated rate and that cheated the taxpayers of New York, and the bank loaned the guy money that ended up in Stewarts' pocket based on Stewart's fraudulent evaluation.
