To who ever is reading this, I hope that everything has been well. Being a Health care or social care is not easy, you have to really take care of others and make sure that you're taking care of your self as well (including mentally/emotionally- very important). Its never something to be taken lightly because it requires PROPER commitment (just being a cleaner in a health care setting/place can be difficult enough- i know from a bit of experience); you have to care for & about people in the gentle/ appropriate way that you'd want peope to care for you/ your loved ones presently and in the Future. Much respect to any one who is a health care/ social care worker and who is doing the job properly & with much care.

I saw a young Pakistani boy about 21 get a job in a care home. His was live-in meaning he had to spend 24 hrs a day there with an elderly women. When he arrived and realised he begged his manager for another post. (Think Indian film when the daughter falls at her dads feet and says pitta Ji mujhe maro)

He's having kids n wife. His manager pay him peanuts n no respect..n still he's willing to do the same job coz he's not skilled enough to crack any white collar job interview. N there are many cases. I know Indians also do that. ..but not at this level of risk n insecurity.
