Even though its over 2 years old, you've earned a subscriber today. Following your guide was super simple and executed perfectly. One update I want to add, in Fusion 360 (Windows) now to select multiple sketch I had to use ctrl+Shift+left click . Took a while to figure that out but rest all working flawlessly. Thank you for this wonderful guide.

This is the only fusion 360 tutorial that actually helped me make a phone case every other tutorial are way to complicated and not easy to follow, so thank you so much for this tutorial. I appreciate it a lot!

This is the best video on how to make an phonecase with Fusion 360, thank you. And you can make a phonecase to what phone you have, not only for iphone. One question, how did you managed to print it so well without supports where the holes are?

I'm a relative novice with CAD plus I've never used Fusion 360, so I thought I'd try doing a case for my Samsung. Stopped & replayed segments countless times as I progressed & got there. One little thing I would change for the viewer is the mouse cursor size & colour. Very difficult for an older codger to see teeny white cursor on a white background. Excellent step by step video

Ecellent explanation! Thanks a lot! I am a newbe in fusion 360 and I successfully could draw a phone cover for a Samsung Galaxy A20e. Also I liked the way you use parametric drawing.

Honestly, this is a great tutorial. I've already printed one Galaxy S21 and one Pixel 4 XL case like this, both in flexible filament. Great guide on how to do things. I would recommend to everyone to make the holes for the volume/power buttons MUCH bigger since your finger needs to get in there, though

I use a Prusa Mk3s which is great, but is more expensive. I have a couple of friends who have Creality Ender 3's and they are very happy with them. Once setup with the correct bed levelling and other settings they seem to work very well. I would check out 3D Printing Nerd who does some great videos on 3D printing, and has a review of the Ender 3 Pro kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooe1haOHnZqEoqc However the Ender 3 doesn't have a 300mm bed, so you would then need to look at the Creality CR 10 series, but then that starts to be more than your budget. If you get a printer, I would start with PLA or PETG. TPU is difficult to print, so does require some experience with 'easier' materials. I still struggle with TPU, and it requires a REALLY slow print speed and a lot of attention to get working. I also use Reddit to check out the 3D printing subreddits, so I would also check out the www.reddit.com/r/ender3/ subreddit. These are great places to go to get advice and tips. I originally started with a cheap 3D printer (Anet A8, which I would NOT recommend). Although it was a terrible and dangerous printer, which cost me loads to try and make it safe, I did really enjoy the hobby, so it allowed me to learn a lot before moving to a better machine. I suspect the Ender 3 would be a great starter for you. Hope this helps.

Awesome, try doing drop tests on it!

I printed a case to protect my new phone (originally did it for my new Pixel 5). Not going to drop test a £600 phone deliberately, but I have since dropped the phone a few times and have zero damage so far. It isn't going to protect the screen of course. I am still using the original case I printed, so it is holding up well.
