🌸Willow Crossley seems darling. I am quite charmed by her. How exciting that she discovered such a fulfilling and creative outlet in her floral artistry. 💐 Her arrangements are rather spectacular -- even in their simplicity. 😉Do like when homes feel lovingly collected over the ages (vs 😝some sort of soulless set design with everything brand new). 🎀Highly prize homes that show off a 💞sentimental side as well as some 🖌personal flair too. 💕Also adore ♂️masculine and ♀️feminine mixed artfully. To dry the hydrangeas you pick them at the time of the colour you want it and put them in a bowl. That’s all .

💖Bless your heart. Trust me, you might fall in the gifted camp on this point. ✂️Someone who intuitively knows when to cut &/or how to dry hydrangea flowers. 😉Maybe you're a bit of a plant whisperer and don't realize it. Or, you live in the ideal climate with right the humidity for it. 🎉For clearly you've found great success with your simple method. 😂For those of us to whom it does not come natural or easy, there are countless floors &/or other surfaces covered in 😔 dried petals of failed experimentation🔬. I assure there is a bit of an art & science to it👩‍🔬. 🤔For those in dire need of a dried flower injection, I recommend that you 👩‍💻check out "Gardening4Joy" blog where she covers "The Secret to Impeccably Dried Hydrangeas" 09/16/20. My friend swears by it.🦋🦋🦋

@@teresacarle294 Yeah! I whisper to my plants and then they usually dye lol. Joke aside , one of my sister did the same thing successfully. We cut them when they yurt started with few brown petals . The hydrangeas that looks victorien , old pink in colour. I wish I could send you a pic . Good luck. Ps: my sister leaves in a complet different area

They sound wonderful! 🙈Honestly, I'm clueless about the mysteries of gardening🌱. 🙊My lame theories about whispering, humidity & climate when it comes to hydrangea drying was a bad attempt at a joke. Although clearly you do have some sort of ☄magical☄ "touch" in your family bcos you still have the beautiful result. Only meant to tease you a bit about it being so easy. 💻According to the article I referenced, ⏰timing (as you mentioned today) has a lot to do with person's success in the process. Picked too soon, they will have too much moisture💧content. Picked too late, petals will wither away fast. ✂️The blogger gave advice on how much stem to cut, how to best store⚱them for best results too while drying, inclu. adding 2-3" water💦 to the vessel. Lastly, the gardener gave photo examples of what you should look for before clipping too. 😉Simply thought it might be helpful to another absolutely clueless novice out there. 🎄Merry Christmas to you!

The flaw in this interview is that the interviewer was not a gardener and didn't have enough background knowledge to ask the right questions so this could be helpful
