My hubby bought me a new chandelier for our breakfast nook. An early Christmas gift, he said, you'll have to hire someone to change that out for you. I said, I'll do it myself. He lòoked doubtful, but agreed to help me anyway. It took me 2 days because the screws were stripped on the old one. But I did it!🎉

None of my projects were on the same scale as yours but I was proud of the Christmas jumper I knitted for my grandson. I'm more of an Aran knitter so it was a challenge to use three different colours of yarn. I made a few mistakes but it turned out okay and I learned from the experience. I also completed my first year of (part-time) uni which was an achievement. I was most chuffed with the purchase of a lovely mid century bookcase from a local charity. It gives a focal point to my sitting room that was missing before and I did need somewhere to display your second book. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it 😊 I didn't expect to see a video from you today so it was a lovely surprise. I hope you had a lovely day, as lovely as you could have after the year you've had, and I'll look forward to seeing more of you next year x

May your holidays be bright, and have a wonderful new year. As I was watching the video, I was wondering if you had your desktop fixed. If not, have ever thought about taking the top off the desk? Then take two long pieces of wood one on each side, (so there are no dents in the wood from the pulling together) put plenty of glue (wood) where the cracks are, and then tighten the clamps slowly alternating and pulling it together. If you had 4 pipe clamps I would tighten 1, 3, 2, 4. The next day I would tighten 2, 4, 1, 3, and so on until closed. I would leave it a few days to dry well once closed. (make sure you use plenty of wood glue) then sand the top and restain. You can DM me if you have any questions or thoughts. P.S. If I remember right, one side of the cracked wood was higher. All you need to do to fix that is put something heavy on the high side of the crack to help push it back down into place as you pull it together. Hope that makes sense. Also, the cupboard doors look nice, but you should’ve filled the holes for the knobs and made new ones. The one is crooked and would make it so much prettier. Have you ever thought of putting paper/ or flowers between the trim it would also make it look very lovely. Lynn

Range hood was the one that showed me. I am Woman Hear Me Roar. Heavy, bulky and with the wrong electrical plug. Over a glass cooktop. But you did it all by yourself.
