Design Configuration using Excel and the Variable Table

Is it possible to change how a curve behave using parameters? The light blue points does not move when the main points are moved.

If we copy the variable link from SE to excel, is it a consistent link? When I try on my side it doesn't seem to be persistent, but copying from excel to SE with the paste link is a persistent option. Also, do you know any why can't apply any formulas to the copied SE link? Do you know any work arounds for that?

@Ally PLM, when I try to I've been following a tutorial, but when I copy and paste a value from an Excel cell into the formula column of the SE variable table, I get the following message: "The edit of the feature variable cannot be applied to the model. The original value will be restored." Any idea what I've done wrong here?
