I think it was about 10 ft long wall to the second floor Then about 5 ft out into the room.

I am building stairs soon in a tiny house that will go to a lofted area. I would like to have storage under the stairs. A mix of drawers and cabinets. Can I build them our of all plywood? Stringers too? How can I have a stringer on the outer portion of the stairs if most of it would need to be cut out for storage?

I was quoted 13000 for a similar staircase seems a bit much? Do you have a video where you did the stringers or install of the stairs?

Does this job pass the inspection? It seems the riser is more than 7.75". Also the tread depth is measured between two vertical line (no less than 10', IRC code (11" in IBC)), so the angle will not help for the measurement (same thing for those open style staircase). Nice video.
