4:10 EXTRUDE: If you try to extrude and you lose the 0.5 thickness of the mug, you need to follow the extrude inner instructions and add the 0.5 offset as showed in the video and then click ENTER and now when you select Extrude you need to change the "Offset" to 0 cm.

Does Cineversity have a book that would go with the videos-to teach this program from ground up? I know people who are 10-15 years into C4D who are still struggling with it, due to the lack of an “authoritative” software teaching guide. A written and illustrated one.

i can't find extrude inner! pls help me
@jadesmith81066 жыл бұрын
In my attempt several things went wrong. The loops I cut were not evenly spaced which caused my 2nd set of handle extrudes' inner edge no longer connected to the outer edge of the 1st set. One was too low and the other too high. Also I made the handle on the wrong place, which I could have avoided if the reference image would have been visible in the 3d view. I just wonder if it would have been better to create a 2nd 3d object: a donut, moved that into the cyllinder, fused it together and then extrude a top inner circle down.
