Sir, I liked your technique of teaching us by this video but I got so many videos on spur gear but not a single video on design of worm gear so plz make a video on design of worm gear becoz its to complicated in books to learn. Also if psg design data book is available on internet share the link. Pls notify me if upload a video on worm gear. And thanx for this video..

Factor of safety of this design is how much? What is the service factor for the design? If crushing stress is not given then how can we get the K? What is the BHN for this design?

Sir Pitch Line Velocity Vm is 2.17 m/s which is less than 20 m/s , but in data book The Given Cv i.e. Velocity Factor is for Vm Greater than 20 m/s for Precision Gears, i didn't understand why you chose this in this video at time 13.10 sec

Yes these are the two methods to solve the problems, but as per me one should follow only one method for every problem for simplicity of the topic. I don't think that in question they will mention use that method only.

i = N1/N2 = Z2/Z1 and in these video formula used is wrong in actual practise it should be speed of driving gear upon driven gear

In 2nd step during finding reduction ratio (i). You notated N2 = 576 RPM. And during testing in bending criteria to put the value of torque you use N1 = 576 RPM. That's totally wrong. Kindly check & revert ASAP

IN STEP 9 THE VALUE OF K IS INCORRECT ACCORDING TO ME IT IS 2.40N/mm^2 so the wear load will fail.

I have one doubt that Z1=18 and Z2=72 so there is hunting of tooths occur...after every 4 revolution same teeth of pinion and gear comes in contact so hunting of teeth occurs.........so how to avoid hunting of thooth
