For throat thickness we use formula 0.7t... where t is the thickness of thinner metal sheet... But u r using 6mm here which is the size of the weld...

6mm weld is already given in question. It is the thickness of the weld

Can you explain the 70-32.6 part in Iyy calculation?

With respect to Y we are calculating x value half of the distance in 140 is 70 and with respect to Y centroid of the x is 32.6. So Yc square means centroid of Y (70-32.6)
