ISMB 500 here 500 is the depth of the section please note the change..it was actually mistakenly told..sorry for the inconvenience caused

ISMB 500, Here 500 specifies Depth of the beam is 500 mm, It has nothing to do with weight of the beam, for this case weight is around 87 kg/m length. Please check. Or in some case we can write as "ISMB500 @87kg/m".
