Another suggestion is to check your water bill consumption for the month. Consumption divide by 30 days then multiplied by number of days you want to have reserve.

Sir this water tank is for one day only. If water line came two days a week how they can use this tank.

it's simple maths. then multiply (no.of.people)'s water usage let's say here 1620 liters * (no.of.days) you want to store i.e (3). so 1620*3 will be the liters you want to store in the tank.

And we will add 8" concrete wall additionally in this size, right? keeping height at 1.5m is good for better water pressure. and in case of rectangular tank instead of squarish, we must not increase length more than twice the width. Also if you could give detail about steel and waterproofing, het insulation plus float valve, and how raised it should be from slab, etc, it would have been even better. you are doing excellent work keep it up and thankyou for sharing your knowledge with everyone.
