Thank you for this great information. I have been ironing fabric onto freezer paper, the kind that has that very thin shiny side. I iron it onto shiny side. And so far it has worked well with my printer. I am really interested in that software.

What a useful piece of software Christine, isn't it amazing what you can get for free these days? It seems pretty intuitive to use, especially if you have a touch-screen tablet like that, love the fabric you've designed, it's going to be wonderful in your project. Thanks for a handy tutorial and for the interesting story about Fanny Charsley, I hadn't heard of her. I've done similar printing on fabric by ironing Reynolds freezer paper onto the back of plain calico cut to A4 size - that enables it to go through a normal printer, then when you peel the paper off it leaves just the printed fabric, no residue is left from the paper and you can use the paper more than once too. Handy tip for people who happen to have the freezer paper already, if they want to try without buying the printable fabric :)

I've recently started using the Reynolds paper and am really happy with it and get good results 😊

Thanks Annie - I love how much you can do with the free version of Canva. I think there is a PC version too but I haven’t tried it. Glad to share the story of Fanny too. I love learning about women who have done incredible things, particularly during times when this wasn’t something that many women had the opportunity to do. And I have some of that Reynolds paper so I really should give that a go too. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡

I have the pro version. I tried to match the background of a picture like you did with the eyedropper. I did not see that eyedropper on the pro version. I'm sure it's there I just need to do a little bit more research but that was a huge tip. Thanks so much

Thanks Juanette - I’m pretty sure I will end up getting the pro version as it does have so many extra features and images. It’s interesting how the iPad and iPhone versions look quite different even though they have the same features. Hope you are well and happy my friend xx
