What was a time that YOU were stuck? What kind of a future did you define? What happened?
@KingJamesMi10 ай бұрын
Right now. Going through a custody battle and working to define a meaningful relationship with my son and find success in self employment. family sees my vision and I am patiently taking steps to create that reality. Thanks Rob that fatherhood aspect is really the best foundation to shape a good life around.

The defining "you" part is absolutely key. It is what I've failed to do and I'm almost 50! Full time union job at 18, married at 23, 2 kids and a mortgage at 25, killer career at 29, business executive at 35 but never fulfilled or happy with my own identity! We get so caught up in letting career, family and "life circumstances" guide, push and pull us in so many directions that we don't take time to stop, and identify who we want to be. Identify that person that serves our soul. So stop, define yourself (and it's ok to get it wrong a few times! just GO) set goals, and execute!

God made every one of us in self image, ACT AND LIVE LIKE YOU HAVE NO LIMITS!!! I am 36 but get told all the time I look 24, I am living like I am still 20! I was hit by a truck going 70mph on foot and I did not let that slow me down, you been through worse? Doubt it, dare any and everyone to show me up, good lucky! I am unstoppable and living my life to the fullest! Can not be shown up!!!!

I love what Rob said, “see it, believe it, do it” I say the same thing, but to help me memorize it here’s a tip : When we were young, we all learned our ABCs, what we should all learn is our CBAs Conceive, Believe, Achieve. I hope this helps others as it’s helped me.

I never would have guessed Rob Dyrdek ever had struggles. Every time I turned the tv on he was winning. It’s helpful to hear you talk real shit and those of us who have tried new business ideas and struggled aren’t alone. Def appreciate when you break down the LOA vibe also.

Rob been watching you since I was a kid! Now I’m going to be turning 30 next month! I deeply resonated with this! You hit everything right on the nail and confirmed I’m on the right path. I just had this awaking that I can’t keep living like this. What does the ideal version of me look like. How do they think, feel and act. I’m going to one day be an amazing husband, I’m going to be the best father to my son. I’m going to be greater than I could have ever imagined. You are the best dude and I appreciate you for all the years of entertainment. And I’m so glad I found your KZbin and you are on the same journey as me. Makes me feel like I’m not going through this alone.

At 41 I was locked into work and the Day-to-Day. I started skating. I have been learning to skate, film, and edit for 6 years now. Making time for myself has been the best decision I have ever made for my self, and for others. I learned how to learn again in my 40s. Game changer.

Hey! Stop that thought! Do "little" things to make your situation better small steps at a time. Set some healthy goals; and treat yourself as if you're trying to save someone you love. Don't feel... plan and do. Happiness is found in the walk, and it's sprinkles, not a permanent state. I feel like you at moments, bit sometimes we get to get the hell out of our own way.

Feel you dog. Things can change fast for the better. History is over rated. Forget all all this Sh!T and let your old self die when you go to sleep at night. Catch amnesia and start with a blank slate. The only thing keeping you stuck on the past is memories of fear and shortcomings. Control what you can control but don’t let your imaginative dreams die. Keep your dreams and let the universe lead you.

I’ve watched this like 15 times. I love how relatable you are Rob. Keep up the content. Quick question. To define all aspects of life. What do you feel like the top 5 or top 10 areas in life that we need to define? Is there 7 aspects of life to define, is there 5 aspects of life? What would you say those are?

It’s been really cool rediscovering Rob through this podcast and seeing him share these philosophies and thoughts on business for the first time. This is really going to help a lot of people because you’re putting these ideas in terms that make sense, in addition to adding a unique perspective through storytelling that not a lot of people can provide. I’m sad the podcast is over, but i’m excited to start from episode 1, take notes, and continue on my self development journey. Thanks for sharing❤️

Rob, could you write a book or bullet points? I think you are working on an app, and I’ll buy it when it comes out, but if I could have bullet points to help me on this journey, or maybe a journal/workbook? Maybe a workbook is a good start. It may help you layout the app. I’m 39 this year and have already made huge changes in my life, but I know I can and need to be better, and the way you look at the world is just perfect for me. I hope I get to shake your hand one day and thank you.
