When you use fabric mod podge for project like this and like this does the fabric no longer feel like fabric afterwards? would be it uncomfortable/ rough, stiff or sticky? how does the texture of this change from regular fabric cotton? Say if I were to do this on a couch or on a pillow, would it be uncomfortable and Not want to sit on the couch or put the pillow against my face? thx! ♥♥

It still feels like fabric..... it is a little stiffer from the glue but feels like fabric still. It feels like a fabric appliqué.

Lovely project however i have dry and sensitive skin and wash all my clothes in fabric conditioner as i cant bare hard itchy fabric will it not bind with the modge podge if i was to wash my project with conditioner. I was abit confused do i have to wash my project ie tshirt project once it has dried or is that just a general rule to when you finally get to washing it?

Hello, When you first apply the fabric to the fabric it should be free of fabric softener. Once it is dried and you are ready to wear it then you can wash with fabric softener. It is just the initial glueing that needs to be fabric softener free. :)

For delicate fabric, I iron lightweight fusing on the back of the piece. Will the Modge Podge stick on fusing and cotton fleece for prequilted patches? Thank you for your demo!

thank you for sharing. it is beautiful. is it safe to stitch over with a sewing machine or will it harm the needle?

It' s easy to sew through the fabric. Machine or hand sewing is fine.

Hmmm... I have a 'barn jacket' in mind. It needs a little update after 25 years.
