Jordbluebird10 - First, thank you for watching our video and we're sorry about the confusion. To clarify, the action of the band pressing motion targets your serratus anterior muscle. This muscle lays under and is attached to the scapula, and is responsible for posterior and inferior (backward and downward) glide of the shoulder in addition to aiding with shoulder flexion and protraction. Its often weak and leads to synergistic dominant pec minor muscles which when short or dominant pull the scapula forward. This is the rationale for the suggested intervention. Keep watching.
