After countless hours at the chiropractor, getting x-rays and MRI’s, the value I got out of the 20 minute video is astonishing. I’m emotional writing this. I’ve been digging into these few pressure points for a few minutes and feel instantly better. It’s alarming how chiropractors couldn’t diagnose my issue.

Where goes their income stream if they 'cure' you. Imagine having the knowledge to relieve pain or prevent death and you let others die or walk around in pain for however many months or years... Because of money and greed. I love how this doctor cares about people! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

After 5 months of severe neck and shoulder pain, 3 MRIs, 10 sessions with a chiropractor and two prescriptions ( I never took), nothing was presented to me that would stop this pain…until you! This video instantly released 90% of the pain I was in in just 5 mins!! Why don’t doctors know this?? The excruciating pain I’ve been through, and all of the expensive testing, even a chiropractor didn’t know to do this. As I write this, I can’t believe the amount of my and our health care system’s dollars that were spent on my quest to find a solution. SMH. Thank you Dr Mandell. You are the best of the very best. ❤

Thank you so much, for all your valuable tips. I would be greatfull if you advice me how to reduce pain of the lumbar spine. Namely, I had a double fusion of L3-L4 and L4-L5 due to anterior spondylolisthesis (2018.). Also, I have degenerative OA of the spine and seropositive RA for 50 years. I exercise regularly deep muscles of the LS spine, external muscles. Now i have 10 therapy with interfering currents and tens. I would like to learn how to apply the trigger points for LS muscles. Can tens be applied as trigger points, also. I assume that there are other people with similar problems, following you. Thank you and all the best. Ljubica from SLOVENIA, member of EU.

Working on my trigger points by rolling a tennis ball between my neck/shoulder and a wall saved my life and my sanity! This was after a year of PT, acupuncture, x-rays, MRIs, meds, all of which ultimately did not help. Finding and massaging my trigger points was the only thing that resolved my chronic neck pain. Thank you so much Dr. Mandell for your sound advice, as always!

I've suffered for 15 years with neck pain and and subsequent radiating pain. Had cervical spinal fusion surgery and disc replacement at levels c4 to c6 in 2014. Continue to have all kinds of pain and migraines, and light headedness since. This doctor and his videos are the best on the internet, no question. His knowledge and explanations are outstanding. Started doing some of his self care treatments that apply to me, and started to feel changes quickly. I do believe we need to do our part to help ourselves.

With me it’s old accidents, but now I realize it’s mostly from sleeping on my side. I was having all sorts of problems until I seen this video and paid attention to the points right on my shoulders next to my collarbone, massaging those two small muscles, one on the right side and one on the left just released all the pain I was having in my chest and the back of my neck, my shoulders everything, thank you.
@LJ-pg4pf
@LJ-pg4pf 5 күн бұрын
Ps. I used a small powerful massage machine, without it I don’t think I would’ve been able to get those muscles to really relax. Not only that, but all the anxiety disappeared all the moving around twirling myself in crazy positions. Tryna get some nerve to pop in into place all had to do with those two points. Anybody having problems I suggest you get a good little rechargeable machine and find your pressure points. Be careful with the ones behind your neck because twice in my life I’ve pressed on the left side and instantly right after wasn’t able to move my neck from left to right. So I’d be careful with the ones behind the neck, especially the ones right where your back starts going down about 4 inches. Stay safe.

If you’re having a hard time reaching your back area you can take a long sock and put a tennis ball inside it and roll your back up against the ball on a wall you will know when you’re hitting a knot. I have been having tension headaches & migraines for 2 years (I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis and a disc hernia) with no type of relief and for the first time I finally had some type of relief today that I cried, you can actually feel your muscles loosen. Understand that if you’re someone like me who has years of damage done to your muscles this will take time to feel full relief - keep doing this daily 1x - 2x day plus stretches don’t give up you will start to feel better with each and every day that no medication can fix! I also run a jewelry business and constantly in that typing type of position I use a neck brace at times to keep my head up straight so if you’re someone who is constantly in that one position please invest in a neck brace to help with posture!

@@matteg490 Be aware that healing and health all begins in your mind. Every feeling you experience in your physical body is created by your thoughts that you CHOOSE. Your brain releases hormones/chemicals that create the feeling throughout your body. This goes for good or bad feelings. Take note of how you feel an improvement in your overall wellbeing whenever you're laughing or briefly having fun. Notice how your attention in taken away from your pain? Whenever you're doing this, your immune system is releasing feel good chemicals/hormones which are also responsible for healing your body! You wrote me but erased it and told me, "Every feeling you experience in your physical body is created by your thoughts that you CHOOSE". Choice? lol. Well, most scientists and me (I'm not one) know that free will may not exist or can't be proved, sort of like god. Everything is determined by evolution, biology, and environmental factors. There is some "free choice" but no free will. Ask the top scientists, who know a lot more than me or you. We are all but interactions of genetics and environment, though sure most of us like to believe we can change things about ourselves and others. Free will is an illusion, though choices are not predictable, and surprises do not mean free will; it is still random and determined.

Toney Tarantino I know how you feel. I felt I lost 3 years of my life. It traveled. Try using a firm orange and use it as Accupressure feel around for points of tightness and pain. Roll your head side to side. The orange is cool in air conditioning alone or in fridge then it warms so it provides warmth and cold. Litereally the fascia hardens that why it needs oxygen & blood flow to soften. I also use a wooden pillow. I do this through out the day. Bc the longer left untreated the worse it gets. I go to Physical Therapy as well. Drug stores sell a little electrical thingy that helped me a couple years ago and I was finally abled to lift my arms. It feels like little needles but works. Additionally, Alternating hot and cold compresses are important too.

I’m really thankful for your help. I was hit by a semi while at a complete stop with a line of stopped vehicles (so I couldn’t get away) in 1995. I was driving a 1970 Dodge Charger with stock seats (no head rest). The semi was only traveling approximately 3-5 mph to make a left turn as I was in horror watching it come at me (head turned right at an upward angle), the impact/force was great. Since those days, no insurance, etc, I have learned to live with pain. BUT, I am so thankful for your help at teaching me how to help myself. It is part of my life but I have learned by many of your videos that if I manipulate and massage and stretch my cervical area I can find relief. I have been doing physical labor for so many years, but really if I don’t keep moving I am more miserable. No sitting still for me. I really like the chin tucks as of late, because I have lost all muscles there. My head just forward very much, I have that fat hump on my back, I have shoulder and thoracic pain, and lumbar pain. But I don’t take much ibuprofen and no narcotics. I did get hit again in 2013 and was prescribed skelaxin (20) an I still have a 1/2 of one left for emergency. I have been using the trigger point in my neck areas which help. It’s the migraines that steal my life, but using the chin tuck and self massage I’ve been migraine free for about three weeks now. I’ll keep coming back to your self help videos. Thanks so much!

I am so sorry for that accident. I ve had migraines for years, Car over bank at 17. One day in my 40 s a chiropractor said i bet your not getting migraines anymore and he was right. But now at 73 i m not supposed to ride bike. One day i did and i had a 7 hr migraine. But i did not know much about it. I do yoga so that helps. But lately i go to bed hot inflamed using cold packs and did not know what was happening. I ll follow this guy. He seems so genuine. I hope you find lots of people who can heal you.

Hi Alan! I'm a PT, based in Switzerland and I've found your videos very good but what I like the most is your honesty and that we share the vocation of truly helping out those in need of sincere and good therapy. And reading through the comment section, well one can see that you have helped hundreds, where others could not. I will adapt what I learn here onto my therapy. Hope you a great week and keep it up!!

This video is absolutely life changing. I’ve practiced yoga regularly which I love and has great benefits, however, it did not help with my neck and upper back stiffness specifically and for very long. Today I followed along and found a huge trigger point in my upper back muscle exactly where Dr Mandell said that his was. I applied pressure to it for 30 seconds released and did it again and what an absolute difference. It’s immediate. I no longer feel stiffness and pain in those muscles. I will see how long this lasts. Last night I did the other exercises from his early morning neck exercise video which takes about 10 minutes and you follow along with him so you get the correct technique. This morning I woke up and did not feel any stiffness in my neck. I am totally gonna incorporate this into my daily routine since I have been diagnosed with “military neck. “ Apparently my neck has an 11.9 degree curvature instead of the normal curvature which I was told should be in the 30 degree range. I have been doing some chiro adjustments, 4 so far, but hope to do 2 adjustments a week, in addition to these stretch and strengthening techniques. Hopefully this continues to release my very stiff neck and back

Oh. Hank you so so much Dr ALAN Mandel. I tried it and got instant relief. Those trigger points are the key to the healing. I applied the pressure and though some were very painful, but I held on the pressure and the pain just vanished from my head. Then I tried it on my shoulder, and again the pain left. I kept remembering you saying it won’t kill me, so I stayed on the pressure. I am really so happy I came across your channel. I’m going to look at the other areas you have posted on. I am 60 and have had these pains and taken so many muscle relaxants and nerve drugs. Thank you again.

I'm crying happy tears, I had such a horrible night again with my neck. I just had epidural steroid injections Friday and physical therapy too. I have a lot going on with myself and could go on and on. I was given a couple pain pills, but I have been sober five years and I always do other things first. Anyway, I was about to call my Dr and I thought no, I've got to try and stretch more or something so I looked on here. With the rotator cuff video oh my goodness some relief, I think mine is stuck, I have a huge knot again on the base where neck and spine meet, that's where I got shots, I have narrowing something, c6 an7, and so much more. I also did the tmj video! WOO HOO! I'm not feeling all better, but you have made me so happy! Thank you for your knowledge and I appreciate this.

It is fantastic. I have all the problems you've addressed in this video. I broke the right proximal humerus a year ago and since then, besides the post-op, I've been facing stiffness in my neck and these trigger points on my scapula. It's been a hard time. But this myofascial release has just helped me a lot. Even the right arm (surgery) seems to be lighter. Thank you so much, from the heart.

Let me just say this! Most of you have already known this, as suggested in the comments below and others I have heard from, know, but to any "newbies", medical doctors sole purpose are to diagnose, fix broken bones and stitch up deep cuts and occasionally surgery WHEN needed! If we were to keep our bodies healthy, away from having inflammatory issues and a leaky gut, which causes more than you may have known, we wouldn't have the problems that most of us have.. we don't have doctors these days that care enough about us instead of the almighty dollar💰! This guy is GREAT! So far, just sitting here watching this video, I've been doing what he is showing us and I'm telling you, OH MY GOSH!!!🎆 Thank you MotivationalDoc! With love, just me!!💚

Dr Mandell, you are a sight for sore eyes. I think YOU are a gift from GOD. As soon as you pop up on my iPad ,I stop what I’m doing and pay attention to you as I am so happy to see you. Lately I’ve been following you regularly. The little bit that I have done has made a big difference. I do have a lot of tight muscles all over me. My back, places I can’t even reach ... so I have a small Thera cane hook that I use to reach those spots and they’re really sore but I noticed that I’m getting looser even though I can’t seem to get rid of these painful spasms. yet, this does help & I won’t stop. I’ll keep going with it. I know I need a lot of work. But I can do it for myself now and even though I don’t get all the kinks out there’s a big difference so I will continue with his online until I don’t have to anymore and if I do have to I will continue as long as it takes. Thank you so much God bless you and hugs hugs hugs.

TiGER SHiNKA Hello dear friend. Things do get better. Anything you can do will help. Open your window and look at the sun, even if it is raining or snowing, look outside and forget about all the problems you have inside. I get sad because I keep remembering what went wrong. But try to focus on the nice things that happened. When someone smiled, when you ate something delicious, simple things that should make us happy, but we are too busy worrying about the future or being sad about the past. You are important and you are loved. Do what the doctor told us and try to get better, dear TiGER!
