Here's a tip: When you paint, you have a wonderful opportunity to give yourself a spa-level hair & skin conditioning while making it easy to remove paint from your hair & skin. Olive Oil. Rub olive oil generously into your hair before tying it up to control it. Next, rub oil on your skin anywhere that might become exposed during the painting. Work the oil into your cuticles, & don't forget to rub oil onto your face, neck & ears. Wash your hands to get most of the oil off the hands, dry them, then scratch a bar of soap, to fill the space under the nails. Now you're ready to paint! After painting, cleaning the brushes, & putting everything away, you can shower & shampoo as usual. The olive oil will have kept the paint from reaching your skin & hair, so will easily wash off. Meanwhile, the oil will have penetrated the skin & hair, making them soft & youthful. Now the room you painted looks good & so do YOU!

Olive oil is inflammatory. I use almond oil, it's lighter, and won't block your pores. I even use it to wrap my hair up under my garden hats. That way it's a hot oil treatment.

You have the most beautiful smile and attitude that is infectiously positive! It makes me want to watch. Just a suggestion. My son is a dry waller. He taught me to fill a large hole in wall like that you should use drywall compound (the pink stuff is for small cracks.and shrinks quite a bit) and a 6" drywall knife(putty knife). Do not over fill hole. It's better to do 3 light coats that dont protrude proud of wall saving on sanding. The last coat fills the tiniest little dips when you spread from all directions.. Then use a sanding block when 3rd coat is totally dry. This method will save a ton of sanding and dust that ultimately gets all over the house.

I work for a tile and flooring company. You have to be careful with the toilet bowl cleaner grout hack. It can eventually break down your grout. If you’re going to use this hack, I strongly recommend sealing your grout immediately as soon as your grout is dry. This protects your grout and keeps it washable with regular mopping for a long time. There are other grout cleaners that work similarly to the bleach cleaner but you should still seal it.

I put Vaseline around tip of hot glue gun. It keeps the strings from forming! I also wipe Vaseline around lid of my crafting paints. Then paint won't dry around lid and be easy to open. Easy oven cleaner: put baking soda on floor of oven. Place bowl of white vinegar on rack. Let sit overnight. Fumes from vinegar loosens everything up and you wipe it down in the morning.

There is a product called “Kiss Off” that I kept in my desk as an art teacher. I think it was originally used to get lipstick off of clothing. But it also has other uses. Your fans probably have more ideas than I do but one of the things we used it for was to remove permanent marker from clothing and other things made of fiber. It comes in a little cylindrical tube like a chapstick or lipgloss. I just love your videos, darling lady!

I loooove home hacks. And these were amazing. I especially like the one to prevent bleeding when painting stripes. My mind is blown! One little hack I've used has to do with nailing anything into a wallpapered wall. If you cut a little upside down v-shape in the paper before you insert the nail you can avoid making a hole in the paper. Then if you want to remove your artwork you simply remove the nail and paste the paper back up in place.

She told me she spent way too much time cleaning her light colored floor tile grout and that if she had it to do over, she would have ordered the flooring with dark grout. Fast forward 24 years and I have never had to worry about my very dark grout.

However, I'm not sure I understand how the cord behind the wall works. Do you have a more detailed description on any other video for an old woman like me? Ok so this is more of a hack for us ladies lol so I bought a bra on Amazon, I absolutely love it! It’s underwired, supportive, yet comfortable. Do you know how it is when you find one that fits you right doesn’t cut into you etc. You don’t want to search again. I am not one to return a bra for obvious reasons. My strap broke and it was the metal ring that attaches the strap to the cup. I washed it and even though I wash them in a mesh bag, somehow it broke in the washer. I didn’t really wanna sew it so I thought I fixed My Closet shelf with a huge zip tie and it’s held up for years so why not My Bra lol So I looped a zip tie through the holes and I don’t have to spend $20 on a new one.

@Arnold Ziffle I try to remember not to use fabric softener in my delicates because I really only use it to reduce static cling caused by the dryer. I never put my delicates in the dryer so I’m only wasting fabric softener if I add it to their wash. Still, sometime I do it absentmindedly. But so far I haven’t had any damaged elastic. Please stop recommending the toilet cleaner for grout hack. Tile experts/companies all advise not to do that. It damages the grout and tile over time. Unfortunately, this hack keeps popping up when it's not a good one. It may do a decent job bleaching out the stains, but it is very harsh and causes damage in the long run.

So those were all pretty cool I’ve seen a lot of them. On the magic marker or the sharpie anything but your carpet or fabric use the Windex or alcohol as you suggested but use a magic sponge and those blue ones by Mr. clean works great especially on walls.

This was all very helpful. This is the first video of yours I’ve ever watched. Subscribed!!! I have the cleaning attachments for the drill and the only problem is that it flings soap and water everywhere!!! You have to set it on low speed so it doesn’t do that but it’s hard to control. I do use them on the grout though!!!

Denture tabs in water for grout worked for me. Just plop the tabs in water and pour onto the grout, let it sit for as long as you want (whatever works) then mop it up. Denture tabs are also great for cleaning flower vases that you can't quite get to the bottom of to clean well.

Hi Natalie, it looks amazing. I did the same to our bathroom shower tiles and gave my arms a workout but I found an even better way to save time and most of all your poor arms. I recently bought a 3pk of different brush attachments for my drill, I saw this on a KZbin hack not long ago and thought gotta give this a go. Our local home centre Bunnings had them. I tried them out the other day and I can't tell you how amazing they turned out. Didn't scratch the tiles did them in half the time, grout has never looked so clean even my Hubby noticed and my arms didn't ache lol. I didn't use toilet cleaner just a shower and bathroom multi purpose cleaner. Loving your videos as always. Stay safe and blessed. Hugs from Australia xx

Wow!!! I can't believe how well that Lysol toilet bowl cleaner made the grout look brand new! Amazing!😁 Dollee is just so adorable! ❤ You asked previously how much my Razzle Dazzle ( My Cockapoo) weighed...he was just weighed on Tuesday. He weighs 16 1/2 lbs. He will not get any bigger than that. Well, between 16lbs. & 18 lbs. I love the hack for cleaning cabinets! Awesome! I will definitely going to try that!!! I have white cabinets...what cleaner did you use? As always, thank you for sharing your hacks with us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊

I also use Sharpies on my boots/shoes etc. Also if you are ever in a jam car interior detailer cleans and shines boots really well. Please be sure to test in inconspicuous area first but since your vehicle dash/console is vinyl and plastics it's safe for most materials in that area. It really makes them shine.

the hack with placing the wood within the wall to give support for the patch of sheet rock... there isn't always room for a hand to hold that support wood in place so if you put a screw in the center of the wood then that temporary screw can be used to slip the wood into the wall and then pull on the screw to hold the wood close to the back of the wall while screwing it securely from the front...once the 2 screws are in place back out the temporary screw and continue on.
