Hey Daisies! Im sharing how I made this tufted headboard. It was an easy DIY. This is a FULL SIZE BED headboard. I've listed all of the materials below and the costs. Enjoy!

I'm making a king size one right now...instead of crushed velvet, I went with a Silver Charmeuse Satin & got some 20mm Rhinestone buttons to glue to the tops of the screws. I also used 2 of the 1 1/4 inch mattress pads to make it nice & thick. The legs on mine are 6ft & are attached on the sides facing inward to give it a wingback effect 😍

Thanks for sharing .... love the fabric gotta go get some of that with my coupons. I did that same style with the nail heads for my clients king size bed with black leather, and then I glued buttons on top of the nail heads. And instead of batting and foam, I used her old comforters that she was going to disregard. She loves it. that was in 2007 and today she still is rocking the same bed in 2018... So I totally agree with you on this style of tufting, versus drilling holes, its just so much easier and faster. The bed looks beautiful... I know she feels like a princess now.

It looks really good! They do sell tufting kits. You drill holes evenly spaced. and pull this button through. The buttons you cover in your fabric of choice. You did an amazing job!

It's CraZy that I'm just finding your channel🤦 and sooooooo many ladies that I follow are also following you and from the comments they love your work.. wish I would've found you sooner I have been wanting to do a tufted headboard for 3 years now, but the methods I've seen here on KZbin have been 🤔 how can I word this... Seeming a bit out of my league 😏 but I can follow your logic with doing it this way 👍 I would however add some type of low/no odor 😉 but strong adhesive to the BACK of the headboard over the nail ends to make sure they don't go anywhere over time 💪.. Especially since there's the possibility that someone might sit up in the bed and maybe lean against it 🤷 but thank you so much for sharing 🧚 now excuse me, I'm bout to go shopping for the materials 💃
