Sabine Spare is an artist and designer from Toronto who founded Spare Label in 2017. She practices water marbling with fabric, which creates a unique, one-of-a-kind design on pillow covers, tapestries, backpacks, and more. Sabine works with clients to design custom housewares. The technique is called Ebru, which is practiced in Turkey.

What type of paints do you use and what is the liquid they float in?

The paints are specially used for marbling art. In Turkey Ayan ebru is one of the best places to sell marbling art products. And the water is called "kitre" in turkish and it's done by using "kerajin/deniz kadayıfı" and water.
