I had anticipated that it would simply turn into the Deku Tree, but combining an aspect of zelda games with another to create a unique, cool looking and still in zelda's themes pokemon is absolutely awesome.

What I love about this evolution line and the direction it takes, is the middle stage genuinely looks like many peoples deku oc’s and the final evolution feels like a deku as a Zelda boss and it’s a clever inclusion of ingame items like the deku seeds in majoras mask that stun others would be perfect for a ninja so it all works

I always took the grass starter since childhood and I wouldn't break that tradition with your fakémon. The middle stage is still very cute and the final one looks really powerful. I'd imagine the fog looking really good when animated. Worked well for darkrai etc.

Dude, I’m an all-time Zelda fan that just randomly got into Fakemon videos, and you are FEEDING my obsession right now. And as an artist, I really appreciate you going into detail about the various franchises you got these ideas from! I think the line should go full Naruto and allow for electric and fire moves as well as status effects. Otherwise it would just be another Seedot line. And i used the Seedot line before.

Really amazing idea with the twilight-touched Deku Scrub hybrid concept! At first, before seeing the Twilight Type, I thought that darkness in Deksciple's design were actually Black Boes from the Woodfall temple! Those little creatures in the darker rooms of the temple that needed torches lit to defeat. If your Deku Starter went in that direction, I'd assume the type would be Forest / Phantom or Forest / Spirit perhaps, depending on what those enemies actually were lore-wise.

That is amazing work. From the sound of the "Game Play" it's a mix of Pokemon Legend Arceus and Pokemon Ranger by using the Pokemon can attack the player and creating a bond to the Pokemon so they can aid you on your quest.

I've been loving this project so far, and since I did stats for other fakemon you recently created, I wanted to do this for the starters! If you like this I'd be happy to do it for the other starters and any other fakemon you create, and if not that's fine, you don't need to worry! This is awesome, and I'm really excited to see where this goes! I've gone through my process for distributing stats below each and I've used the totals from the gen 7,8 and 9 starters. Hope you like this! Dekute BST: 310 HP: 50 Attack: 70 Defence: 25 Special Attack: 70 Special Defence: 35 Speed: 60 Thus applies for all first stages so I'll just say it here, that you can't really specialise yet and have to keep the stats balanced. Desuke BST: 410 HP: 70 Attack: 85 Defence: 35 Special Attack: 85 Special Defence: 45 Speed: 90 Now the second stage is where things really get interesting, obviously with Desuke being based on a ninja, it's quite fast for a second stage, and can deal a lot more damage than it can take. Deksciple BST: 530 HP: 85 Attack: 120 Defence: 35 Special Attack: 110 Special Defence: 45 Speed: 135 And with the final stage this idea really flourishes, Deksciple being blindingly fast and having really good attacking stats, but it's defences are really poor. I went down the mixed attacker route since I think it could be either, and it fit the stat spread better. I hope you liked this @Bilsu Art and apologies for the long read. What I really love about this is how much you maintained the similarities in the design. So even in their own uniqueness there is still that anchor that says the species are the same. The cloak thing for deksciple still has the shape language of the "sasuke hair" in desuke for example. Well done man.

Mid-evolution definitely fits the "awkward growing" phase those stages are often associated with. In this case, straight up "awkward teenage." It manages to stand on its own.

While I was expecting the first evolution to be based on one of the Princesses, Desuke is actually really cool and edgy looking. The eerie vibes definitely make sense now. While they are not a king, Deksciple is really awesome looking. I was not expecting most of their body to become a dark fog, but it does look nice. Also, the fact that it has literal leaf blades is just hilarious.

I can totally picture the gameplay being a mix of pokemon and more traditional JRPG where both Link and one pokemon are out on the field and pokemon can choose to attack you or your companion while Link is also capable of attacking. It would be a REALLY great rom hack to make this a full region using an established pokemon/JRPG game as a base. In a perfect world it could be a mix of Legends Arceus and Breath of the Wild!

Honestly, half-expected the Deku Scrub to become a 'Deku Knight' before becoming the 'Deku King' for the final form. Slowly boasting better bulk and more statuses while maintaining a passable normal attack stat while lacking in special attack and speed. Showing that in Deku hierarchies the Scrub is the most basic form, likely the most plentiful of their kind by far, with the King/Queen Deku (Have a new 'Deku Queen' variant for females that could follow the Majora's Mask design of the Deku Princess) being a natural leader to its kind that survives and uses status moves or big hits to fight while relying on Deku Knights for offense. I do, however, kind of like the 'Deku Ninja' angle as it is unique.

As might be evident, I'm a bit of a Deku sympathizer. This Deku pokemon imagining is so awesome! And for me personally it strikes home with both the Deku and Twilight theming since, you know, I love Dekus, and Twilight Princess was my first ever Zelda game. Really hope to see this project to it's completion! I've always wanted Zelda games in other genres than just action/adventure and this is scratching that itch perfectly!

I like this design a lot. It goes wild and crazy, but at the end of a 3-stage evolution line is exactly when you *should* do something a bit crazy to pay off all the build-up. *Blastoise* goes about as wild and crazy as the system limitations allowed back in 1996, and in doing so became a beloved and iconic pokemon design. Torterra goes absolutely hog-wild in the 3rd evolution, and is quite possibly the most compelling starter final evo of them all. I like that the ninja theme with its reference is largely contained to the middle evo- with the foreknowledge that middle evos can get lost in the shuffle as they do, a middle evo kinda gives you design freedom to make references and weird little things like that without making too big of waves.
