Fantastic video. Love this. FYI, A dessert that you eat is spelled with 2 s's and can be remembered by thinking of "Strawberry Shortcake. 😊 The 'desert' is dry and only has one 's.'

What's the brief? Who's the target audience? Creating something that looks nice, or similar to other logos out there does'nt help you measure the success of your solution. Your exercise only works if you're designing exclusively for yourself.

The challenge here is clearly not to create a viable branding solution for an audience but simply to consider how an unfamiliar font might be used and how to express it apropriately. It's just a simple exercise and a fun way to workshop ideas.

@@johnnyrangus5252 Rachel talks a bit about the target audience-I think somewhere around where she starts making the mood boards. This is, of course, a conceptual brand so it’s all made up, but the same thought process applies to real clients/audiences.
