This has me rethinking what I was about to recommend for a buddy's place with regard to food plots -- iron clay peas, winter hardy oats and clover. Am thinking no-till and natives as much as possible now cause he is a busy farmer, maybe reintroduce or up the number of preferred browse like greenbriar with features that promote vine growth and just focus on first-choice and second choice native browse species and providing cover like willow thickets on high ground around the swampier areas maybe some pear and native persimmon trees and other late-summer, early fall sweeteners in strategic spots. I like it. Wheels are turning. Good podcast

I don't know if y'all are looking at purposeful application of the 'three sisters' gardening method or how native browse might fit in a purposeful planting application, but between the sunflowers and peas and clover, other species it looks like that sort of combo idea, maybe some native sweet potato vines for ground cover/weed control - but the method seems applicable in a no-till row-type planting option rather than random seed spreading. Just an idea

I have 1/10 acre property, mostly fenced in, in the middle of a 1600 home neighborhood near a major metropolitan area. What can I do to bring more deer to my back yard? Looking to get them into the 30 feet between the trampoline and the swing set.

I'd recommend planting an apple tree or a large corn pile. Which ever one is approved by the HOA.
