A pokemon based off of fractals would be interesting. You could make a pokemon inspired by fractal-like plants such as the barnsley fern or Romanesco broccoli.

I love the idea of Calculus-based Mons, super cool designs too! I thought up one myself after seeing yours, except based on a later Calculus subject, that being Parametric Curves. For anyone unaware: A parametric curve basically incorporates a third variable to go with x and y called t. You build the graph by finding where both x and y are positioned for each value of t, this can result in wonky graphs with complete loops and intersecting points on one line. The mon is called Parasitrim, taking from the words “parasite” and “parametric”. It’s a Bug/Ghost mon that takes the form of a Loooong Ghoulish Worm. Since it’s a ghost, it can pass through its own body, which it does to make itself into weird perplexing shapes no ordinary creature could do, much like how Parametric Curves can make shapes that no regular f(x) could make!

@@wigglermain Yeah, but I think that if someone points out to you what the design of each mon is based off of, you should be able to say, "Oh, I see it now" but I don't really see it with the first two. @@anthonynorman7545 Personality I quite enjoy matrixes for the most part since it was one of the first things we did in my advanced math course and a lot of time was dedicated to it to ensure we understand it completely. We haven't done any matrix bigger than 3×3 tho which I am very grateful for, not sure if you have done that? Some of it is definitely hell tho I would not deny that. Of everything I have done thus far there is nothing worse than integration😵 (it would help if I paid more attention in class tho😅). It sucks that maths is usually presented as intimidating and difficult tho we need more people who teach it like in a unintimidating manner, as was done in this video

Something I hope you'll do with your Pokedex equivalent is make the entries applicable to the world. There are some Pokedex entries that explicitly make no sense unless you really try to bend terms to make them work. Like the obscenely large temperature of Magcargo or how Doduo is stated not to be able to fly but learns fly. I'd be awesome to see a Derivyte actually demonstrate the ability to travel using slopes based on the tilt of it's head.

i have never touched calculus and anything beyond the basic algebra confuses me, but you explained this so well and i really enjoyed it! the way that you turned derivatives into a _slope_ literally blew my mind, like im sure it wouldve also been explained like that elsewhere but since i have no knowledge of calculus or physics, it made me go "hey, maybe i _can_ actually understand this if i tried". i love science but it's always the maths part that deters me, that's probably why i have the most interest in biology haha. which means, im super interested in this project and i love what you've done, i havent seen a project like this before and i reckon it would help many young people get into science in the future. the monsters in this video were _super_ creative and i wouldve never thought of them this way.

Approaching means gets close to. So where that gap was, we can't get to the exact number. Instead we look at the decimals close to the number we want. We have to look left (the negative meant left) and right (the plus meant right) of the number we want because the gap changes the how big the number is. Hope that helped!
