Pierre Lacotte's costumes for Marco Spada (and Phaero's Daughter) are amazing. In all three ballets, the costumes perfectly complement the ballets

To me the costumes almost always take away from the overall appearance. I am not sure why such a beautiful art form has such bad costumes
