Small tip: you can use one hotkey for both deploy drill and satrt mining. And then second key will be free for some other use. (And it is easier press one key twice, then two different keys; and easier to remember).

I tried that before and it caused me problems to start the ISRU before the drills were deployed, so I prefer to use separate keys and only start the mining operations once everything is fully deployed. It's possible they put in a fix, but it's been my standard for a while now and I've never used up all my hot keys yet...

@@AntonIkryannikov The ISRU would shut itself down if there was no ore to process. Not sure if that's been fixed but it used to be a problem.

@@JettQuasar It sounds weird for me. In all my crafts ISRU works correctly when I set hotkeys as described. Of course it does not produce anything while ore is missing, but it still "on", and start converting when harvest begins. But I still use 1.2.2 (my computer is too weak for newer versions); maybe this bug has arisen later?

incase anyone was wondering, the audio clips that are played backwards are a jumble of stock audio clips for a random person speaking (i reversed it)

FYI, KSP cut scenes use the reversed talking clips, and I got most of the audio files from a mod called chatterer which uses them in the game.

This video was done in stock KSP V1.7. Trees are under the "ground scatter" title in the settings. I find you may need to do a quicksave (F5) and reload (hold F9) in order for them to appear sometimes.

Practice... lots and lots of practice. I also throw away a lot of designs if they don't work out so good. It usually takes me more than one try to get it right.

There'are two little buttons on each Kerbals image on the bottom right of the screen. One of those buttons shows the interior veiw. Can be quite a treat to see the different veiws of the diffferent cabins. (^_^)
