I didn't even know Meshach was in this show until I was watching an episode of the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified, where he played the history teacher, and later principal, Mr. Alistair Wright, and my mom told me that the actor was also in Designing Women. R.I.P. Meshach Taylor.

They didn't know what comedy gold they had with Delta Burke. They put too much attention on her weight gain and missed the fact that she was so funny and cool that when she left the show started dropping in popularity.
