its not long lasting, it works for few hours, because you chose wrong motor. load is greater then motor which causes heating motor so much and finally burn.

If you really want to make this then don't connect motor shaft directly with fan. Use a belt system for it... Then it ll work

It will not be energy efficient this motor will consume 160 watts along with this metal weight fan because with small metal light weight fan blade this motor consume 120 watts .. when we put plastic blade it consume 80 watts of power with this heavy metal fan it consume 160 to 180 watts and then it become heatup and burn in 45 min to 1 hour. Actual ac ceiling fan consume 80 watts of power whixh is better then this method yes you can make it energy saving fan by replacing fan blade too fibre one or pvc plastic fan blade
