Girl you got me crying from the jump. Hearing about your breastfeeding journey with both babies is giving me some relief. I’m a first time mom, my baby is 6.5 weeks, and went through the same struggles you mentioned with Ocean. I’m also supplementing with formula, but as long as our babies are healthy, that’s all that matters ♥️

Same here. My daughter is 6 months and I'm still pumping but we've been supplementing from day 1 because I never made enough for her. It was a hard pill to swallow at first and I'm still emotional about it but yes, the main things are that Baby is healthy and fed. So sorry to hear people struggling with breastfeeding but honestly it makes me feel less of a failure. Regardless of what you choose to do, you are all wonderful mamas 💗

I had no clue Harper passed away! I’m so sorry Desi! I’m one of your OG fans. I bought every single piece from you and Katy’s Dose of Colors collab.. the lip gloss was SOOO bomb! I know Harper was your first baby. My heart goes out to you. On a lighter note… I’m so happy you are back! I never really go on TikTok or Instagram so all of my favorite OG KZbinrs, Katy included, kinda went away. And with the YT beauty community taking a back seat over the last few years, I’ve really lost touch with all of my old school “makeup guru” faves. It’s so nice to see you back, especially on KZbin! It's never too late. 🥰 My channel is still not where I want to be and I had some hiccups like losing my mom and dad within the last 5 years but I refuse to give up! My little Latina mama use to watch your videos with me and she was a hairdresser and she would say you could do this babe you grew up in a beauty salon. People thought I was crazy trying to become a beauty creator at 40 but my beautiful mama really believed in me. So thank you and congratulations to you and your beautiful family! Hey Desi! I just wanted to tell you I went through the exact same thing with breast feeding and I love that you talked about it ❤ it was really hard finding out that my baby was loosing weight because I couldn’t get her enough food but once we switched to formula she was happier and so were my husband and I Baby number 2 we were a lot more fluid and ended up switching to formula much sooner
