This video really helped, I’ve been feeling pretty crap lately with my job and trying to work on my trading on my days off at the same time. But when you do videos like these it makes me roll up my sleeves and start again. Thanks Etienne

Can you replace the day job is the question. Well. if you make $1000 a week then you need to be able to make that in the market. Basically it is about confidence in your ability to do that. I strongly suggest building your trading account and by doing so you accomplish 2 things. You establish the confidence that you can do it. You also make it easier to do it. The ideal position is to need to win 1 trade a month and that 1 trade will replace your monthly wages. We will call that position comfortable and stress free. Obviously you trade more then that....but, the idea is...no stress...remove the need and absolutely remove the greed....do those two things and you remove your #1 enemy when it comes to making mistakes.....Yourself. Need and greed kills....every time. Patience is the only way to win.

You see I could make that one trade a month to make my monthly wage but the problem with that is I would be risking a big amount of my account so if worst case senario it went bad, most of my account will go. At the moment im just trying to build my account so when I do risk a big amount then it will be more comfortable if I was to lose it for example.

Great video as usual, man! Patience and discipline are the pillars of any succesful endeavour, and that's what this video is all about. Taking the time to LEARN and APPLY, having the discipline to CONTINUE doing so for as long as it takes to become consistently profitable. One thing I would suggest, however, is instead of losing money ALWAYS start with a simulator. There's this great Brazilian trader who says if you want to be a pilot, you won't start off flying a plane, you'll start working your skills from the simulator up, is this is exactly the mindset aspiring traders should have. Aside from the simulator, it's essential to take the time to backtest a strategy and see how well it works, which not only gives you confidence in what you're doing but also helps you practice your setups. Cheers!

Do you have verifiable results that we can see, I like listening to these interviews, not being negative, but they never show their results, its east to say I made X amount on a trade, how did you did you it, did you keep the money?

The problem I have is nowhere can I get that free training nor have I a six-figure account to make a living from. I’ve calculated it will take me 30 years to get there, I’ve not got 30 years to wait.

What's worked for me is learning to read price action and having the discipline to stick to it and not study other things. And trading micro futures. If you can be consistent with micro futures you can make 50-200 dollars a day once you feel confident to start trading full contracts with around 5k (a micro contract is 1/10th of a full contract)

Let's do the numbers. If you are literally Jehovah and can make Buffet's rate of 20% a year, you would get $100,000 on a $500,000 bankroll. If you had a real job as a lawyer you could make $500,000 income and invest the bankroll in an index fund for $50,000 profit. Quitting your job to day trade is earning an extra 50 to lose 500.
