I read Jonathan Edwards biography by Iain Murray and it was indeed extraordinrily good in portraying Edwards' life and emotions.

Great blessing to me. I hope to read further on the life of a man used and tested by God, thank you. Sometimes I get disheartened by rejection, but Edwards teaches us how to prevail and Glorify , God keeping Eternity in view

Johnathan Edwards owned six slaves including Venus, Titus, Leah, Rose, Joseph and Sue. John Wesley was a keen abolitionist, speaking out and writing against the slave trade. Wesley denounced slavery as "the sum of all villainies" and detailed its abuses.
