Hallelujah! A while back I felt God tell me to open my heart wide toward a community of believers that are a bit messed up. 2Co 6:12-13 "It is not our affection, but yours, that is restrained. 13As a fair exchange, I ask you as my children: Open wide your hearts also". I have prayed and prayed that God would help me obey and my heart would enlarge, but I have had difficulty. Now I know I will run to obey when he enlarges my heart! And I know he is doing and will continue to enlarge my heart for the saints! Psa 119:32. I needed to hear this.

I've noticed that whenever I do help someone who is weak, the Holy Spirit will refuel me on an other level than I was before. May God bless y'all

Praise the LORD!!! AMEN. The word of God in His richness, greatness and mighty deeds stretches the heart of the small souled persons. The person whose soul remains small I encourage to look into Biblical Counsel... that includes personal Biblical memorization.

I have a friend who bought an unassembled desk and now wants friends from the church to help her assemble the desk for free. My feeling is that she should have bought an assembled desk to begin with. She should pay those who assemble the desk for her. Is this a case of serving the weak or admonishing the idle?

Sorry for the lateness of the reply. But if she has trouble with the desk, it would be helping the weak. On the other hand, if she just doesn't want to take the time to do it herself, then you could admonish the idle. Hope that helps :)
