My walk in Christ has been made much easier because of your Good Ministry to me over the years here on this forum, that is why God directed me to Desiring God. I am Stephen Phillip Gunnell of Sydney Australia, I was awaken by the Spirit of God during a NDE whilst tumor was being removed from my. brain and shortly afterwards I sort out an Evangelical Church and was Baptised and Born Again . This waa just 7 years ago. Now I am 55 years old but I feel as free and as hopeful as a Child, for that is what I am, I am a Child of God. I long for the Rapture of The Body of Christ be it at sleep in Christ or still awake. I love you Brother and all of my Brethren , because God loves us all. Listened to something yesterday that got me thinking. Real love is a spiritual thing. Its not carnal. Animals don't love the way we can. But ppl that ignore the spiritual try to conflate the ultimate expression of love between a man and a woman. It's in all the fairy tales and music. This concept is pervasive. But I think its idolatry. Loving the created above the creator. Of love is a spiritual phenomenon. And in the spirit there is not male or female. I think we have the capacity for love to love God.

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." (John 14:23). By the way, I have read the bible many times and I have not heard (2nd) coming. The word 2nd, speaking about the coming of Christ, I don't remember seeing. Now I know I have a poor memory, but can anyone point out where in scripture does it say, (the second coming). I have read about Christ's return, the Day of the Lord, and the coming of the Lord, but not the second coming. Now, I hear this alot spoken by many Christians whom I love, but I am not sure that it is biblical to add a word to God's word like, (second) if it's not there, unless of course I missed it. Also the death of Peter was, said by many, that he was crucified upside down on a cross. But where is that in scripture? I haven't seen that either.

Question: John Piper said, in so many words, that God hated Trump more than He hated abortion. Did he mean to include late term abortions, where the intense pain endured is off the scale? God hated when the ancients would surrender their children to the flame in honor of Baal or Molech. Do you think His hatred of Trump surpassed this?
